Liz has always enjoyed dancing, but never having a dancing partner, simply didn’t find much opportunity to dance as an adult. After taking a Line Dance class on a whim, an enormous passion began to emerge. With a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, she eventually traded teaching in the school room for teaching in the dance studio. "I’ve found I absolutely thrive on bringing moments of joy to others through dance!" Liz currently teaches multiple levels of ongoing Line Dance classes each week, plus 6-8 week Absolute Beginner series at two of the local colleges, and two weekly Zumba Gold classes.

In early 2019, she expanded her passion to choreography. In just a short time, her dances were being taught at Line Dance workshops across the nation. Liz competed in the 2019-20 US Line Dance Choreography Championship (USLDCC) qualifying events and placed 5th in the finals for Newcomer/Novice dance division. She also enjoys exploring a wide variety of international styles by choreographing all of her Zumba dances.

She and her partner, Bradley, live in the mountains of North Carolina, adjacent to the National Park lands of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The parade of wildlife this location affords is a never-ending joy to them both, but they are especially fond of the black bears.
